When should I contact a Land Surveyor?

There are many reasons to have a Survey performed.

Real Estate, Construction layout/planning, Subdivisions, Estate Divisions, Boundary Disputes, Boundary Agreements, Mortgage Purposes, Oil/Gas work, Fence Construction, Right-of-Way acquisition, Expert Witness Testimony, etc.

We specialize in Surveys along Red River in South Arkansas and North Louisiana.

What is the Cost of a Land Survey?

Surveys can range in cost and are dependent of many factors.

  • Size of Property to be Surveyed.
  • Purpose of Survey.
  • How quickly the job needs to be performed.
  • Location / Terrain / Site Conditions.
  • Historic Records of Surveys, Boundary Agreements, Judgements by Courts on Boundary Location.
  • Is the property located on a Lake, River, and/or Stream?
  • Is this property located in a jurisdiction and/or municipality that has subdivision ordinances and regulations?
  • Is there a dispute regarding boundaries?


What information should I provide for an Estimate?

  • Copies of the Record Land Descriptions and abstract (if possible)
  • Copies of any Historic Surveys you may have
  • Desired Timeline for Completion 
  • Any Specific items you need performed (Lines Painted and/or Flagged)
  • Are you in a Dispute with your neighbor(s)?
  • Have there been any recent Surveys performed to your knowledge?
